About UsOur aim is to make ethically, often hand mined crystals available to those who appreciate the difference this non-violent approach makes.
Crystals are more than just another natural resource to be ruthlessly exploited. They are one of the many living beings beyond the understanding of modern science, but widely appreciated by many ancient societies. The cultures of the Celts, Aztecs, Mayans, Native Americans and Vedic India are richly interwoven with the Mineral Kingdom.
| We specialise in high energy, often rare crystals, suited to healing and energy work. |
Since there is no active mining of mineral specimens in Britain today, few crystals of any kind reach the world markets. Kacha Stones ethically hand mines quartz, leaving the environment completely undisturbed. As most seams are now exhausted, Celtic quartz is becoming increasingly rare. We also buy from ethical mines overseas, often individual miners with whom we have a long standing relationship. Kacha Stones nestles on an idyllic Welsh hillside overlooking the River Cyche. In the Mabinogion, a collection of the oldest Celtic texts, the lower Cyche is where King Arthur hunted the White Hart and the upper Cyche described as the gateway to the Fairy Kingdom. Our Welsh quartz is from this ancient Principality of Dyfed. Our Irish crystals are from the beautiful South West coast. | |
