About Us
Kacha
Stones nestles on an idyllic Welsh
hillside overlooking the River Cyche, a location revered throughout Celtic
folklore. In the Mabinogion, a timeless collection of
ancient Celtic genius, the lower Cyche is where King Arthur hunted the White Hart.
The upper Cyche is described as an ancient gateway to the Fairy Kingdom.

All the Welsh quartz is from this ancient Principality of Dyfed, where the air
is clean, water sparkles from springs and the crystals are magical. This area
also contains one of the highest concentrations of stone circles and standing
stones on earth. Our Irish
crystals are from the beautiful
South West coast.

Since
there is no active mining of mineral specimens in Britain today, few crystals of
any kind reach the world markets. Kacha Stones ethically hand mines quartz and calcite,
leaving the environment completely undisturbed. As most seams are now exhausted,
Celtic quartz is becoming increasingly rare.
 |
Our aim is to
make available this small quantity of Welsh and Irish quartz to those who
appreciate the energetic difference
ethical hand mining undoubtedly provides.
We
specialise in
metaphysical quartz formations
and Celtic quartz,
but also search the planet to provide the useful, beautiful and rare. |
If small
