Only recently found in the wilds of Kenya, these crystals are not the odd amethyst formed with elestiation, but whole pockets of true amethyst elestials.

Elestials are a refined quartz formation which combines layered and/or etched sides with multi-pointed tips. In nature they are the directors and organisers of "ordinary" crystals.
