There are 2 types of Isis crystal. Where the Isis face is symmetrical, symmetrically central and extends lower than the other faces (for want of a better definition), are considered the premium and most energetic Isis type. Add Welsh golden healer with snowball inclusions and you have a genuinly unique, if humble looking, crystal.

Symmetrical, 5 sided Isis faces are not that common. They have special significance in relation to crystals working with people, indicated by the "human" number 5. The number 5 also indicates the feminine principle and regeneration in terms of both its mathematical and geometric properties.

Phi, the Divine ratio, is the ratio of the segments in a 5-pointed star (pentagram) and was considered sacred to Plato and Pythagoras mystery schools. Each larger (or smaller) section is related by the phi ratio. This is an indication of the regeneration association. So the number 5 is also closely related to the golden proportion, as are all quartz crystals, their points angled the same as the perfectly proportioned Great Pyramids, which also conform to phi.
