Appearing as flakes and small nuggets in Welsh clear quartz, this purest of natural gold is mined in only tiny quantities. Jewellery made from this is considerably more expensive than any other and is favoured by the British Royal family.  

Gold has been called the master healer, symbolizing purity of heart, the perfection of alchemical transformation. Purifying at all levels, the beneficial effects of gold are considerable. Welsh gold unified with quartz by nature is extremely powerful and rare.

Other inclusions may be gold but are a little too deep to be certain.

The bottom point (as seen on the left) is smaller due to nice growth interference at that end, this is a completely intact DT with DT bridge. Rainbows, etching and self-healing on one face.

4 flakes of gold - maybe more. 2 very easy to see (the bottom 2 flakes within the circle - the top one is hematite or graphite), the other 2 with bright light (not shown in the photographs).

The main flakes are in the DT bridge, another in the largest crystal and another in a tiny 3 pointed bridge. This crystal has a key and rainbow.

1 flake of gold, easy to see the colour with bright light.

Excellent curvature, elestiation and bridges coming from between the tips of the twins.

2 easily seen flakes of gold.

Self-healed base and excellent curvature (an indication of potency), and rainbows.

This is the only grounding formation with gold and largest gold included point.

The brown mark can easily be removed.

2 flakes of gold, small but easy to see the colour with bright light.

Self-healing on the base and side, curvature, interesting etchings and growth interference on the main face. The tip has some damage. This is a proper 6 sided crystal, not a milky quartz mass.

2 very easily seen flakes of gold.

Self-healed base, and a clear triangular key. Growth interference across 2 faces as seen on the right. The tip has 3 points.

3/4" 1.9cm 2 grams

1 flake of gold, very easy to see and relatively large. Can be seen clearly from both sides.

This little point has a 6mm penetration bridge DT rainbows and a key.

Although the gold appears dark in the photograph, it is actually a natural gold colour. It is difficult to light both a flake and crystal so that both can be clearly photographed.

Where flakes are metallic, but cannot be clearly seen to be gold, even if in the same crystal, we never count them as gold inclusions.

2" 5cm 24 grams

3 very easily seen flakes of gold.

Perhaps the most visible flakes of the 20 gold included quartz we have mined. This crystal is a twin.

Nice layering, etching and the subtle hue of the golden healer, especially around the base.

The tip has a small ding but the geometry is basically intact.
