Do a search for gold and quartz on the net, and you may find the gold on milky quartz masses or rough rock, not pure flakes in clear quartz crystals.

This is a solid mass of intertwined, slightly milky crystals. The 2mm gold flake is just under the surface, so the milkiness is no impediment to a clear view. As all the other gold included Welsh have more than 1 flake, there is every chance this larger than average cluster contains more flakes.

The largest crystal is a 3.5cm layered and etched Isis.

This is a solid mass of refined bridging DT's. Although some portions are slightly milky, at least 10 tiny, shiny gold flakes can be seen just under the surface of water clear quartz, including in 1 tip of a DT tabby. An exceptional little cluster.

The gold is in a very slightly milky base. Although deep enough to slightly obscure a clear view, if you angle in light the gold colour is still visible. What sets this crystal apart is the gold is in the base of a crystal that perfectly cradles a pristine, 16mm DT tabby elestial. This is a very refined and energetic little crystal in the first stages of self-healing.

What looks like a single flake in the picture is actually 6 tiny flakes. They can be seen with the naked eye but the form and colour is fully appreciated with a little magnification.

Layering and multi-terminations of the main DT technically make this an elestial, but the form is not immediately apparent. The self-healing makes this a complete unit, which coupled with the DT makes for excellent amplification of the gold energy.
