Himalayan Herkimer Golden Enhydros

Himalayan golden enhydros are double terminated quartz, which in terms of both form and quality, are comparable to Herkimer "diamonds", the standard for super-bright quartz from Herkimer County, USA. However these contain something one professional geologist in the oil industry described as "very, very, rare". Extremely high grade, fluorescent golden oil. This is most definately one of the rarest and most powerful forms of quartz.

Several fairly stationary bubbles, deep key and an Isis face. Excellent condition. 17mm is a small crystal, but about as large as golden herks get.

Fairly symmetrical, 5 sided Isis faces are not that common. They have special significance in relation to crystals working with people, indicated by the "human" number 5. The number 5 also indicates the feminine principle and regeneration in terms of both its mathematical and geometric properties.

Phi, the Divine ratio, is the ratio of the segments in a 5-pointed star (pentagram) and was considered sacred to Plato and Pythagoras mystery schools. Each larger (or smaller) section is related by the phi ratio. This is an indication of the regeneration association. So the number 5 is also closely related to the golden proportion, as are all quartz crystals, their points angled the same as the perfectly proportioned Great Pyramids, which also conform to phi.

At 8mm this is small even for golden Herks. It contains a relatively large, single, crystal shaped oil filled hollow (the negative formation) with an easily seen moving bubble. In fact, despite it's size, it is an excellent example of this rarest of formations. Excellent condition.

Negative manifestation crystals contain the properties of "regular" manifestation crystals in addition to their own.

Growth interference on one face otherwise perfect condition. The interior is rich with oil and inclusions. Uniquely in golden Herks and rare in any DT, both ends possess the prized Dow formation. This is the ultimate in geometric symmetry - expressed as alternate 7 and 3 sided faces. One triangle has a tin window, but this is seen as an addition to intrinsic the Dow formation.
