Celtic Quartz
As quartz from Tibet, India or Brazil has its own unique mood, so
does Celtic quartz. Celtic was coined because
this quartz is from the land of the Celts, Wales and Ireland. It is safe
to say that this quartz was literally under the feet of our oldest
Celtic ancestors.
Kacha Stones is located at one of the principle locations of Celtic folklore
(the Cyche Valley in West Wales), as described in the oldest
Celtic book in existance, the magical Mabinogian. Our unique approach to
mining, cleaning and storage produces exceptional healing and
metaphysical crystals.
Stage 1
- Ethical Hand Mining:
Kacha Stones is the exclusive miner of Celtic quartz. These rare
crystals are ethically and consciously hand mined in relatively small
numbers, taking great care to leave the environment completely
undisturbed. That is only the beginning of our uniquely holistic
approach. |
 |
|

Just as
trees need fresh air and water to produce fruit, crystals have their
own energetic needs if they are to produce their many subtle fruits. |
Stage 2 -
Cleaning:
Our crystal cleaner is
a spring fed stream at Kacha Stones. This not only washes away clay and
mineral deposits, but also any subtle "stresses" due to being taken from the
earth.
Given the choice,
any sane person would choose the fresh, organic apple over one
that has sat on the shelves, held together by nothing more
than its thick overcoat of pesticides. We apply these same, basic
principles to all the crystals we mine or import.
 |
|
Stage 3 -
Re-align and Energise:
We use one
of the most powerful and beneficial pranic sources to energise our
crystals. A natural woodland spring
where water appears straight from deep in the earth.
Spring water has been
shown to be full of life-force, chi, ki or prana. This not only provides a pristine and vibrant boost to the crystals,
but re-aligns them with energies originating deep underground, their
natural home.
We believe
that crystals are one of the many living beings beyond our normal,
empirical understanding. As such they should be respected and their very
minimal needs met.
|

Crystals cared for like this, and those blasted out of dying mountains
and stuck in crates before gathering etheric pollution in city shops,
feel and are energetically different.
|
|
Over a period of time these crystals absorb and resonate with the new, but
still vibrant, natural energies. As crystals within the earth are
contacting and working with natural energies, if you remove them entirely
from nature to be stored in crates, warehouses and shelves, they are less
energetic.
 |
If
these crystals are just chunks of rock, we really have gone too far.
But if they are alive,
mathematically precise geometric healing aids, then we certainly have not.
The reason Celtic quartz feels more alive than the
vast majority of commercially mined crystals is that we know they are
not just chunks of rock and treat them accordingly.
Stones
are, in one sense, the closest children of mother earth. More than
being intimately linked with her energies, they are her
energies. From this perspective, the outrageously destructive mining techniques
practiced today cannot provide crystals that give the results are
looking for. |
|
|
Stage 4 -
Storage and Amplification:
Grouping on the earth, in the natural light of the Sun and Moon is the
optimal storage condition for crystals. Though care should be taken to
prevent frost damage.
Celtic quartz does not accumulate dust and unwanted thought forms, but
the exceptional energetic benefits offered by our unique location and
Mother Nature.
For over 20 years, Kacha Stones has
mined, healed and researched quartz. This has given us the chance to
develop practical techniques to preserve and amplify the natural potency
of quartz.

Anyone even slightly sensitive to crystal energies can immediately tell
the difference.
For those looking for uncommon configurations, we have a few that you
would have difficulty finding in a book. Tabulars,
elestials, growth interference, Isis, phantoms, channelling,
transmitters, DT clusters and mineral included quartz, including gold and
pyrite, are a sample of the formations we mine. Many are available in
extraordinary formation combinations. More on
quartz formations.

Kacha Stones nestles on an idyllic Welsh hillside overlooking the River
Cyche. In the Mabinogion, a timeless collection of ancient Celtic genius,
the lower Cyche is where King Arthur hunted the White Hart. The upper
Cyche is the famed gateway to the Fairy kingdom, revered throughout
Celtic folklore.
