Metaphysical Properties of Crystals
Only in post-industrial Western societies have the ancient teachings been entirely disregarded in the name of technological progress. The same progress that has polluted our water, air, food and minds and enabled the potential destruction of the planet with nuclear power and weapons. It is time to turn back to the rich storehouse of knowledge left by our many ancient cultures. In considering if the energy of other planets influences life on Earth, contemplate the pull of the Moon on the tides (remembering the human body is almost 70% water), or the energy of the Sun, transformed through photosynthesis, as the basis of all physical life on Earth. Even from the most dogmatically scientific perspective, the effects of distant planets can no longer be denied. All the planets exert their influence in one way or another. Crystals and minerals transmit and amplify that energy, primarily through colour and geometric form. This is a deep science and should not be dismissed because it is beyond our sensual or intellectual experiences. |
