Dows are recognized as having 6 faces (as always), with 7-3-7-3-7-3 sides. Those interested in numerology will immediately recognize such a structure as significant.

The most symmetrical and balanced of all the crystals they combine the properties of both channelling and transmitter crystals as well as exhibiting their own. The ultimate crystal for balancing energies and therefore healing the physical, mental and emotional bodies. 

In addition they also combine the qualities of 3 and 7 perfectly and harmoniously. In looking at the qualities of these numbers we can receive much insight into understanding the potency of the geometry of crystals.

In music, 7 notes span 3 octaves. 7 chakras. White light is divisible into 7 colours (rainbow). 3 gunas ("modes" in Vedic philosophy).

Occasionally, the triangles of Dows are so tiny that they appear not to be there. However, as quartz must have 6 faces, and 2 of the 3 seven sided faces meet on a crystal where only 5 faces can be counted, it is a mathematical impossibility for it not to be there. Crystal geometry is not fickle. 

Elestials are recognized by multi- terminations on the body and/or faces of a layered and/or etched crystal.

An elestial is far more complex, both energetically and geometrically, than a "single" crystal. If a point, a single "ordinary" crystal, is likened to a calculator, an elestial is a very complex computer.

It appears that in their natural environment, they act to direct, focus and integrate the "ordinary" crystals in the "group" they direct. In their interaction with humans, they appear to be able to manifest that information, which at that time, is required in order for a person to take their next step in becoming more conscious. Elestials work to bring that which is needed within the grasp of the conscious mind.

Enhydro is Greek for "water within". These are crystals that contain pockets of pure water, mysteriously trapped in ages gone by. Water has been found in chalcedony, agate and quartz and is usually perceived by the presence of moving gas bubbles in the water. Very occasionally, there are pockets of water with no bubble but a tiny floating inclusion. It is possible to have water pockets with neither bubbles or inclusions. While these are enhydros, they can be very difficult to identify as such.

As water has always indicated the emotions in terms of the 4 elements (earth-body, water-emotions, air-mind,  fire-spirit), these crystals can have a profound effect on our emotional life. Water that cannot move becomes stagnated - as emotions that cannot be expressed stagnate. Enhydros contain water trapped in very limited space, but the water has remained clean and pure for millennia. The signature of these crystals indicates a protection and purification of the emotions.

The combination of water and quartz in this way is an extremely valuable and powerful tool for those with an understanding of the properties of both. The ability of water to instantly hold subtle impressions (see the work of Dr Emoto), and the ability of quartz to structure, store, amplify, focus, transmit and transform those impressions, has extensive possibilities.

There was no name for many formations of golden enhydros, because golden enhydros themselves, were previously undocumented crystals. Himalayan golden enhydros are double terminated quartz, which in terms of both form and quality, are comparable to Herkimer "diamonds", the standard for super-bright quartz from Herkimer County, USA.

However these contained something one professional geologist in the oil industry described as "very, very rare". Extremely high grade, golden crude oil!

Siva manifestation was coined to describe a particular feature of this Himalayan quartz. The golden colour clearly shows the crystal shape of the rare “negative” formation, a crystal shaped hollow within a crystal (as pictured left). The manifestation crystal is where a small crystal is completely encased in another larger crystal. In the Siva manifestation crystal, this perfect crystal shape contains golden oil and occasionally a moving bubble. The tiny but well defined sides and faces of the double terminated golden hollow an be seen when angled in light. If it were not for the colour and bubble, it would be hard to distinguish from a regular manifestation crystal, which may also occasionally be water enhydros with no bubble. Siva translates literally from Sanskrit as "auspicious" and is a name of Mahadeva, whose home is also the mystical Himalayas. As Siva manifestation gems are rare and auspicious, it seemed appropriate.

Fairy crystals are clusters of extremely fine, delicate, bright crystals. Often hundreds on a couple of inches. There is no possibility of getting these any other way than very careful hand-mining. More Himalayan Golden Herkimers

The picture shows something we have never seen before. All these crystals contain pockets of a uniformly, golden liquid! The uniform colour and manifestation in an entire batch, rules out  random oxidization. There is obviously something special going on here. This was confirmed when an oil industry geologist contacted Kacha Stones to ask if I knew just how rare these Golden Enhydros were.
