Ethically hand-mined near Talley Abbey in West Wales (UK) in 2011.

A mostly milky Golden Healer but the beautifully visible flake is in clear quartz. Though obviously small at around 2mm, out of the 33 gold-included crystals mined, this tiny nugget is one of the most visible thanks to its location. Save a picture to easily locate it on arrival.

Gold on a milky mass (rough rock, not fully formed crystals) is available but rare. Gold in crystals like this is exceptionally rare. 

Welsh gold is the world's most valuable precious metal, the official price is 3 times that of the London Metal Bullion price. Welsh gold has been especially prized as a jewellery metal for centuries and dates back to the days of the Celtic kingdoms when nobles wore gold torques as a badge of rank and power.
